Tomorrow is Jenny's birthday & we'd like to visit the best Traditional Greek resturant in the Sissi or Malia area.

We have tried a couple in Sissi Harbour & Malia but feel there must be superior available

Any suggestions appreciated?

We were dismayed to read, in an April 2005 post, that self drive boat hire is not possible in Crete.

One of the highlights of visiting the Greek Islands is the availability if self-drive hire to explore the calm waters of Greece; is the costal water of Crete considered too dangerous?

Can we only take a boat trip, or, are there any other options, is it possible charter boat for a day?

After all we will be staying in Sissi – supposedly a ‘Fishing Village’!

Has anyone used Traffic Car Rental recently?

They appear, from their link on the Explore Crete Homepage to have the widest range of vehicles; we are intrested in cabriolets.

Traffic have not replied to e-mails & it is not possible to book online

We would appreciate hearing personal experiences as we were let down by a 'seemingly reputable' local car hire firm in Zante & we will be arriving in Crete in the early hours.

We're staying in Sissi from 22nd September & wondred how long it will take to drive from Sissi to Red Beach Matala.

We saw Red Beach featured on a Sky program rating it among the Top 10 Nude Beaches in the World!

Looked good & prompted us to book the holiday in Crete, are there any other Nude Beaches we should visit?
