Hi everybody!

I will be visiting Crete in the beginning of September, staying first in Chania.
If someone who knows the city well could recommend from personal experience nice inexpensive places that serve REAL Cretan and/or Greek food, I'd appreciate it very much.

Also, I'm a bit confused after reading about Cretan wine - different sites give different info.
What wine do usually Cretans drink with their meals - red, white, sweet, dry, or other? How strong in alcohol are Cretan wines? Is there such thing as famous local wine in Chania and Rethymnon?

I know I asked too many questions, but if someone answers I will be very thankful.
