Cliff Astles

Hi,

Name, Cliff Astles, now retired for some time now, and find it very difficult to remember what it was like to be in full time work. How did I find the time !!!

Mainly (well from the age of 18 anyhow) have been in IT, in the later years, IT Sales and Marketing.

Have three loves in my life. Number one, my wife, Barbara, who has had to put up with me from the age of 14 years, and we are now in our late 60's. Second TWO are Crete and Photography. (OK amateur)

We have traveled a little in the Med, but last year we decide CRETE was where we should be, and we have both fallen in love with this Island paradise, it's people, way of life, history, what more can I say ???...Oh yes, SUN !!!

You can see from last years photos (still available to view for FREE On-Line at my Photobox Gallery page) just how much we have fallen in love with the island of paradise, Crete. Photo Jpegs are also FREE to anyone, just ask, and they are yours. YES, they make good prints/canvasess to look at all through those LONG, DARK, WET, COLD, UK Winter Months.

E-mail myself or the photo gallery on Photobox, or just search for my name on the Internet, using your standard browser, and you will find the links, and see the Gallery / photos. YES, it is a "commercial" gallery, BUT private and personal photo assignments having their own link to the Gallery / prices etc.

However, now do MOST of my photography as a volunteer for "FREE", therefore anyone can have the jpegs if they wish, and you can then get your own prints by using the jpeg's I would provide for you.

Will be around most of Crete again in two weeks, 26 th May to 9 th June, and will be visiting the WW2 sites again, and all being well will be taking a new set of photos for this year.
