Greetings.
I want to introduce myself. I found this forum because I have a dream that some day I will buy a house in Crete, and whenever I am tired of being in New York I will go there for a while. I live in Midtown Manhattan so this would be quite a wonderful contrast!
I dream of a garden with a lemon tree, vegetables, and bougainvillea. I'm relatively young(30's), so perhaps it is years down the road, but I am determined to work very hard, so that one day I will get there.

Let's hope you won't drown. Since you don't mention anything about yourself in your profile and neither about your visits to Crete I wonder who and what and why. And yes you are still very young and by the time you're ready for the big jump the island might have sunk to the bottom of the Aegean Sea due to an overload.
Emma, what did you mean? Was it too quiet in Crete and will it get busier when people start to join the forum
