I was really cross that I had woken up too early on a Saturday and decided to make best use of my extra hours by catching up on events here - then I was really pleased when I realised I could be the first to send good wishes for your birthday.

Thank you so much all of you! :-) Would you believe I was so busy working that I did not even check the explore crete!! Fortunately, the local "gang" came by and forced me to get off the machine for a couple of hours to celebrate. Today is much better I actually saw the message on the screen "end of translation", so my stress level went down to "relaxed and cool", I only have to deliver on the 20th so there is plenty of time to check everything thoroughly and deliver on time. Tough one this one, I am happy that I will soon be back to my "4 hours a day is enough" so there will be time to enjoy my garden and the sunshine. The weather is not for staying outside though, this is the worst winter I have ever experienced here (well, it is only the third), is freezing cold outside. I heard they had lots of snow in Agia Galini, but nothing in Pitsidia so far. This evening a truck load of snow was delivered to the platia in Pitsidia, so the kids could enjoy it. I would rather do without it, I admit!
Thanks again folks, it was nice to be remembered - and I do not feel old at all, since all this year I have been telling people I was 57, but I recently discovered that I only turned 57 yesterday! ehehehe So I didn t get a year older, it is Status Quo here! My friend Jenny suggests that maybe I should stop fixing my hair in pony tails like Pippi Langstrump, but I cannot be bothered about that, it is so convenient just to slap a couple of elastics around the messy hair in the morning. ;-)

Thank you all! :-) I was very surprised to see that I had already answered (just thought that I must really have had a glass too many at the party yesterday) - but then I discovered that I was actually reading the recycled thread from last year (Wim should be pleased!) LOL
We had a great party, grilling in the garden in the early afternoon and sitting on the terrace (with loads of sweathers and jackets on!!!), people must have enjoyed it since the last bunch only left around 4ish this morning. I am happy that I only have a tiny bit of work today, after clearing up the house this morning there is absolutely no energy left!

Thanks also to the latecomers - the good thing is that you can consider it an early birthday greeting for next year because of all this recycling stuff. I actually enjoy thinking about getting some hundreds of birthday greetings when I turn 70, and I will probably be as surprised again to see that I have already answered! But when I turn 70 I am sure I will not even realize that it's actually recycled!
