Hi My name is Brenda and my husband Jim and I are moving to Crete in Feb08. We have just accepted an offer on the sale of our house, the equity will fund our new life until the pension kicks in, and we hope to complete by christmas. We can then resign from our jobs in time to make the long planned for move to the Kalyves area. We are renting a house for the 1st 12 months to see if the area is right for us and then we will 'go with the flow' and see what happens after that. We are sooooo excited, we have read Carols book cover to cover and have found this site a font of knowledge so thanks to all. See you in Feb xx

we are moving out to Crete, infact we expected to be there in Aug/Sep this year but due to circumstances... the sale fell through on our property but as soon as we sell the house here, we'll be off , we have a property in Kournas which isn't too far from where your going.
