Hi
I'm a Greek freak Turkish living in Finland a while. I have visited Cyprus (Ayia Napa) first and fell in love with Greek people. But, now it's the first time I'm visiting to Greece and I'm totally out of politics person. I was just wondering that could I have difficulties to spend my 3 weeks in Crete? I'm arriving there 21st of this month and we've our own house (me and wife).
I mean, I hate to be judged for politics because of I'm Turkish.. I'm a tattoo-head, punk fellow who loves ska, rude music. Can you also suggest cool places for me?
and I've question about tattoos. We have quite expensive tattoo makers in finland, damn huge prices for a small peace but I'd like to know about prices in CRETE. If you are experienced about it please inform me.
I'll be following this topic, thanks in advance...

Hi Joseph
I really cannot imagine why you should have problems visiting Crete! History is one thing, people is something different. So as long as you don't start discussions in kafenions about how good it would have been if the Turkish had remained on Crete I think you are safe!
As for tatoo shops, I have NO idea, I've never seen one here.
Enjoy your stay!

Just be aware that the Cretan raki is real firewater - not the raki that I have had in Turkish restaurants in the UK.
