I read on this site recently about a deserted village that has been bought by a group who intend to renovate it,icant find it can anyone enlighten me.

I can't recall anything about actually buying a village - there is a thread (started by Wim) which proposes doing exactly that, but at the moment it remains just a dream. One day, maybe, if enough like-minded people get together and make it happen - or have we missed something?

Never mind - at least only 2 more years ago (and only 6 months less than me!). Maybe then the deserted village can become a reality???

As there ia a gathering of people in May perhaps the issue of renovating a deserted village could be discussed ????????????????
