First timer to crete ,in Stalis 5th-19th sept any tips on where to go, eat, drink, 'ect, would be welcome.
Four of us in total me the wife mother and father in law Im in forties so like amix of lively and quiet deepending on how much drink Ive had. Any one going at the same time ,would like to meetup if you would like already met people this way last year in corfu, had a good time.
hope to get some info at least. Thanks to any one who replies

Hi Lenny,

We will be going 8thSept for 2 weeks, myself and the husband, staying at the Lyda Horizon,great views of the bay of Stalis, a 10 minute walk along the beach path into the resort,a nice walk.

Where are you and the family staying?. Its a lovely resort,lots of lovely places to eat,did not have a bad meal. Theres a lovely village up the mountain named Mohos,has Greek nights in the village square,we missed it last year but will def do the Greek night this year. My husband walked the Samaria Gorge and thought it well worth the pains in his legs the next day,he will walk it again this year. We did the day trip to beautiful Santorini,wow what an island,breathtaking views. Have you been to Greece before?. If you want to meet up we can arrange it,its great fun meeting people on holiday from the boards,they do it on the Zante site,we were there 3 times,same hotel each year before going to Crete last year for the first time.
