I am not that mean... The warning for the smile was a joke between me and Uffe, who is an old friend.

You might be interested to know that I have the same problem. only contact via sms. He can send loads of messages one day then none for days with no reason why, and then back to several each day!! Who knows how the mind of the greek man works?? They are certainly very different with the way they are
I dont think you are alone at all. We shouls start a new question for people who may have similar problems
We can exchange advice!
Hello Anne,
thank you! I know that the season is ended now. My boyfriend has told me about he's new job. He wants to see me again, but i would like to see him on another island. I know, maybe it's hard for him, but i want to be sure and take all the time, and be very careful. If i can take the airplane, he can do the same, i think. It's only one hour for him, if he want to come to see me and talk. It's was not a problem for him, but it depends from his new work. Do you know what is a normal salary in Crete? And can they take holiday after the summer season, when they are working?

i dont know how good i will be at giving advice on a long distance relationship. i for one am totally against long distance relationships!!!! how hypocritical since i have been involved in one myself for nearly a year!

not knowing anyone in the area, makes it IMPOSSIBLE to know what hes doing, and who hes doing it with

i on the other hand have an advantage,

or else.... forget about it! i wouldnt have bothered with him!

It works out very well, especially since I speak Greek (his English is not too well). We are not having restrictions on each other as we are not seeing each other most of the year which means if we want we can date other people. Its the best way not to get hurt. Just when I am with him and he is with me other romances are taboe.
We have very deep feelings for each other and when I went back to Crete last month he had told everyone that I am the best and most beautiful girl in the world. EVERYONE has told me this, they said: "Oh I know everything about you and what a wonderful girl you are!"

I can just give you the piece of advice to be really careful, these Greek boys meet a lot of girls and they know perfectly what girls want to hear. I know guys that are "professionals" on dating tourists!

Maybe you're right, but we have already contact for 6 months and he wants to see me again, in my country. So i don't think that he's playing with me, but you never know.
So did you sort anything out now?
