#11378 Transporting Pets By Air

Posted by JohnFeg on 26 June 2007 - 09:04 PM in Living in Crete

We are moving permanently to Crete in September and I want to bring, preferably on the same flight, my trusty old Labrador.
Have any members done this?, if so, I'd be grateful to hear their experiences, which airline they used and how they went about organising it.

Kind regards

John

Dear Lesley,
many thanks for that, I'll send you a private message. We've just got back from a couple of fantastic weeks in Vamos. It looks like we'll be living fairly close as we have found a house in Kokkino Chorio. We'll be moving just as soon as our house is sold.
Regards
John

My wife and I, now retired, intended to come out to Crete, during next winter, to look for a house. BUT! on the last lay of our holiday last week we found, and fell in love with, a house near to Vamos. So, it's a big panic now to get things sorted out.
I would be very grateful if someone on this forum can put me in touch with a good Solicitor in the Chania area.

Regards

John

#11286 Opening A Bank Account In Crete

Dear Yannis,
I read with interest the information you passed to Kikki. I have had the Alpha Bank recommended to me and want to open an account.
Do you know if it is possible to do that from the United Kingdom, preferrably on line?

Regards

John
