This is one of our best places to visit. When you enter into the inner sanctum through the main entrance, you are in a different world, and at peace. A quiteness that makes you feel it was built just for you. A MUST for all visitors to Crete, and an experience that cannot be ever comprehended or forgotten. Cannot wait to get back to this very precious spot for us.
Hi Clilff, I'm very envious of this picture. When I was there two weeks ago it was absolutely heaving with visitors and the skies were a bit overcast. I'd have given anything for a shot like this!

Hi Caroline,
You must have been there at the same time as we were this year !!!
As it was quite full with school children, and YES heaving as you say. However, as you may have noticed this shot was from last year, as were the others of Arkadi as we appeared to have picked a good day last year.
If you want the jpeg o get yourself a print, it is OK, just sayAOK, and I will e-mail it to you.
I only took about 6 to 8 shots this year as there were too many people about. A selection of this years photos are now ready to be uploaded.
