Could you please explain these categories? I've guessed that they depend on numbers of posts made, but if so, the effect is that someone who makes a lot of posts gets to be an "Explorer" or an "Expert" faster than someone who may know Crete better but is a less prolific poster.
You may have gathered that I've got myself in mind. I've been coming to Crete every year, sometimes two or three times a year, since 1981 and have travelled all over the island, in the last 15 years mainly in the southwest. When I write posts in answer to people's questions I use such knowledge as I have and think my posts are usually helpful. At least I hope they are. So, while I don't post a great deal I would have thought my experience of Crete would by now have qualified me as at least an "Explorer", if not an "Expert".
And yet, alas, I'm still stuck at the "Traveller" stage, where I have been for at least two years. What can I do to get myself promoted? Besides deluge you with multiple posts, I mean.
All the best,
