My wife and I have visited over the years various greek islands and Epirus and this year are due to go to Crete.
We have seen various orchids in Samos, dolphins at Parga, an amazing array of dragonflies and green tree frogs at the Amoudia Delta, tortoises and Pine Martens at Thassos and the piece de resistance, Mediterranean Monk Seals at Allonisos and Parga.
After doing much research into what Crete has to offer, I understand that there is a resident pod of Sperm whales to the south of the island and was wondering if there are any whale watching excursions. Being avid naturalists it would be an amazing opportunity to see Sperm Whales and dolphins whilst we are in Crete.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
