On behalf of Crete veterans I am looking for examples of particular war memorials that depict British servicemen. I am looking for examples that show an airman, a soldier and a sailor on the same memorial. The memorial may be in the form of a three dimensional piece or a two dimensional plaque. Whilst the above are what we ideally seek, examples of single servicemen memorials may also prove helpful.
Any information as to the location of such memorials, or good photos of same, would be most welcome. Please send to [email protected]
