Living in Crete is the new book by Carol Polioudaki. Carol describes her book as a guide to living, working, retiring and buying property in Crete.

Watch Carol's interview in Kidon TV about her new book:

This is an interesting book Yannis,

It should be read by anybody who has the intention to go and live in Crete!

Just read on the forum that David and Glenda have bought a house. How lucky they must feel to change Wakefield for Skopi just a bit off the road to Sitia. Can you tell us a bit more about how, when and why?
And about the Minoan excavation situated between Hamezi and Riza? Did you make some pictures there? Would do great on your blog.

I wish you luck with the refurbishing of your house. I hope that Andy and Christine are going to live in your area because I think that Andy can be of a great help to you both.

Hi. Im new to this and not sure if i am doing it right but i will try anyway.
Me and my friend are planning work work in Hersonisos for the summer next year.
We came on holiday this year nd really enjoyed it.
I was just wondering ho to go about the basic stuff.
Like renting an flat/appartment/room for a 3 month period.
How to start looking for a job.
The prices of rent.
The rough prices of pay.
Etc, Etc.
If someone could get back to me that would be great.
Thanks.
