Ho Ho Ho!! merry Christmas to everyone!!! Ho Ho Ho

Plane crashes on a desert island. 15 survivors. 3 Italians, two men and
a woman, 3 French people, 2 men and a woman, 3 Germans (you get the
picture), 3 Greeks and 3 Brits.
Six months later....
One Italian man had killed the other and was living with
the woman.
The French had a delightful menage a trois.
The Germans had a strict rotation. Hans on odd days,
Franz on even. The Greek men were living together and had the woman
doing the housework.
And the Brits....were still waiting to be introduced to each other.

Hi, all and Happy Christmas - sorry can't do Welsh or Greek (yet).

Dinny, enjoy your roast pork and hope you get your cabbage - we have fond memories of going to a German friend around Xmas for the same dish - delicious.

Santo, hope you get some Xmas celebrations in even though you're busy at work and have a lovely time - give us a call over the break.

We're not sure exactly what we're doing over Christmas - Boxing day is seeing my brothers (it was my fathers birthday, so it's a family tradition to meet up that we've carried on since he died). Christamas Day was just going to be the two of us, but looks like Phil's children may have difficulty sorting out a dinner for him, so I'll volunteer for them all to come round to us - he's the one with MS, so can't get up stairs or travel very far.

Will try and join in the "chat" tonight, unless I'm asleep - had a lunhtime do at work with wine and I'm really not used to drinking during the day!

Yannis, echo Santo's thanks for the forum - it's the best!

To each and everyone of you

The Spirit of Christmas

I have a list of people I know
All written in a book
And every year at Christmastime
I go and take a look
And that is when I realise
That those names are a part
Not of the book they're written in
But of my very heart

For each name stands for someone
Who has crossed my path some time
And in that meeting they've become
A treasured friend of mine
And once you've met some people
The years can not erase
The memory of a pleasant word
Or a friendly face

So when I send a Christmas card
That is addressed to you
It's because you're on that list
Of folk I'm indebted to
And you are one of many folk who
In times past I've met
And happen to be one of those
I don't want to forget

And whether I have known you for
Many years or few
In some way you have a part in
Shaping things I do
This, the spirit of Christmas, that
Forever and ever endures
May it leave its richest blessing
In the hearts of you and yours.

With my best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year
