Hello you all,

I received some good news about the BBC series once made by Michael J Bird.

Who pays the ferry man has been released on dvd by "intertoys" a firm situated in Holland.

When you are interested in his site ( a tribute to ) this is the adress: http://www.mjbird.org.uk/

Who pays the ferryman is the BBC series that made Elounda famous (1977). The other series made by Michael and shot in Crete was;
The lotus eaters occurred in Agios Nicolaos and had the same impact on the town then.

The BBC never put them on tape let alone on DVD.

Is there someone else on this forum who still remembers these series?
Or am I that old :P
